First Drop The Big Blind 2009 Adelaide Hills, Australia

A blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera. 14% alcohol. Pale-ish cherry red colour. Sweetly aromatic nose with notes of ginger, spice, cherry, plum. There’s a combination of sweet fruit and a savoury twist. The palate is fresh and spicy, with some grip and attractive sweet and sour cherry character. A distinctive, characterful wine. 92/100
