2009 First Drop Wines Shiraz/Monastrell
Half & Half Barossa Valley

Deep, bright ruby. Spicy, rich nose offers raspberry, cherry-cola and a hint of smokiness. At once rich and juicy, offering spicy red and black fruit and anise flavors. Finishes with a dusting of fine-grained tannins and very good spicy persistence. I like this wine's blend of depth and spiciness. 90 points
