NV Sparkling Barossa Trincadeira
A collaboration with our stablemate Tim Smith Wines, this booze was made with Trincadeira (otherwise known as Tinta Amarella, which is a Portuguese variety that is also grown in Spain), from our favourite patch of Hot Dot’s vineyard and held aside in old oak each year from 2005 to 2009. The final blend was then bottled fermented and spent 18 months on tirage before being disgorged. A true labour of love to make the ultimate funster wine!
The Home of the Brave range is about taking winemaking into uncharted territory, and we’ve done the same with the packaging with the talented street artists of Melbourne’s Everfresh Studio creating the labels for this series. Meggs stepped up to the plate to make this bottle unique.
‘My interpretation of Bravery is an act of selfless giving that comes from the heart, aswell as the ability to rise up to and overcome challenges.’
