A complex nose of red and blue fruits, layered with black olive and earthy notes is followed by vibrant berry fruit with refreshing acidity, fine grained tannins and a spicy finish on the palate.

Deepish red colour with a good tint of purple. The bouquet is bright, youthful, fruit-driven and bold with dark cherry and raspberry fruit aromas leading. It has good intensity of fruit flavour and is typical barbera in taste, the tannins light to medium-weight and just firm enough, the acidity in harmony and not excessive. Good balance. A very good wine indeed.
